As part of the economic recovery plan for the COVID-19, the Greek government approved 4 new renewable energy investment projects with a total capacity of 2.8GW. These include 1.5GW solar photovoltaic power plants spanning 12 regions in central and northern Greece and 37 photovoltaic power plants with a total capacity of 830MW for Larissa, Magnesia and Kilkis. As part of the road map to support the elimination of coal power generation by 2028, the Greek state-owned public power company is responsible for the development of solar power plants. As of July 2020, the total installed rooftop solar capacity in Vietnam reached 925.8MW. According to Vietnam Power Group's estimates, by the end of 2020, the total installed capacity of rooftop solar energy in Vietnam will reach 2GW, and by 2030, the total capacity will exceed 4GW, of which industrial and commercial projects will account for 95%.
